about

Eat The Sun is a trio of free improvising musicians, each of whom studied in the graduate music programs of Mills College. They played their first official gig in Oakland, in the light of the solar eclipse of 2012, what the band's name represents. Their music traverses a delicately balanced landscape of noise and tonality. At times very light, empty, and accessible. At other times dark, dense, and impenetrable. This is the terrain of Eat The Sun.
